Calendar Girls, KENYA, The unveiling!

Calendar Girls KENYA is a unique 15 month calendar running from October 2011 to December 2012.
The 2nd Edition of Calendar Girls Kenya, October 2018 to December 2018 shall be available from October 2018.

This is a calendar sale fund raising initiative whose proceeds are going towards the medical bills of women (and men) undergoing the treatment of breast cancer.

Calendar Girls, KENYA is made up of Kenyan personalities in their own right who represent different age groups (the youth to the mature), single women, mothers, wives, women from different ethnic and social backgrounds and working class women in different fields – political, media, arts and theater, sports, fashion, corporate

The lovely Kenyan ladies who have volunteered to be a part of the calendar have a passion to advocate for the fight against breast cancer having had a family member or a close friend undergo the misfortune of having the disease. With the proceeds of the sale of this calendar we seek to improve the quality of life of women (and men) diagnosed with breast cancer but who due to unfortunate circumstances are unable to meet the financial cost of medical.

Thorough proceeds of sales we have successfully financially supported several breast cancer patients (both women and men) for their required cancer treatment under professional care at the Kenyatta National Hospital, Nairobi Hospital and the MP Shah Hospital.

It was a lot of fun doing the shoot. A special thank you to the Girls for volunteering their time, cover girls – Sation, Shiko, Karimi, Patricia, Sally, Rupa, Anne, Rachel, Flora, Roselyn, Linda, Lynn, Ayoma, Carla and the month girls (see link below). Special acknowledgment and appreciation goes to Ms Raji Bhanji of Whizz Photo Studio, Kasuku Centre, Nairobi, for the shooting of our lovely and colorful calendar and to Color Print Kenya for its production.
